The Endless Tap Tavern
The Endless Tap Tavern is a Dungeons & Dragons-inspired fantasy text-based RPG. You and your exhausted party are in need of a respite after a long day of adventuring, leading you to the Endless Tap for an evening of drinks and relaxation. But will you find the rest that you so desperately need?
For the sheer amount of content in this monstrosity of a Twine game, I recommend at least three play-throughs for a "complete" experience.
... And yes, you can pet the dog.
Beware of potential spoilers in the comment section!

When you say, 'at least three play-throughs for a "complete" experience', do you mean three completely distinct play-throughs of many groundhog-cycles each, i.e. erasing the save data twice? Or do you merely mean making different decisions for three identical instances of the same groundhog day? Or am I overthinking this?
P.S.: Rainen is an absolute unit <3 But it seems strange that Malichor doesn't have any kind of reaction to her being draconic(?)
SPOILERS AHEAD, HEAVY HEAVY SPOILERS
Darn it green eyed cook :( Is there any way I can just like... not be killed at the end? It says I beat the game but... I don't feel good about this ending. Are there any others?
Thanks so much for playing and for your comment (and for including the spoiler warning)! :)
If I remember correctly, there are 4-5 distinct final endings (depending on how you count). So yes, there are other options besides the one you got...
If you go back to see any others, hope you enjoy!
OH DARN NOW I GOTTA FIGURE OUT A WAY *NOT* TO DIE OKI OKI I... .... I will be here for a while LOL. I absolutely adore every single member of the party :') I might need some hints BUT I GOTTA GET A HAPPY ENDING I'M CONTENT WITH
Also no worries about the spoiler warning, I know I struggle with itch io games, and then I go to the comments to see how others find the game (is it scary, does it involve any of my triggers, what are people saying about it, oh look people are saying it doesn't download/talking about (trigger)') and then there's always that one comment that just... in one sentence ruins the entire game for me LOL. One game I was gonna check the comments and the FIRST comment was ... ''(character) WAS EVIL TH ENTIRE TIME'' and I was just like ... cool ... chill ... thanks for that?? lol
So I didn'want to be that person for others ^^ Plus, I have been that person before and authors have always asked me to include spoiler warnings, so I kinda just do it in second nature now :D
Best of luck to you finding those other endings! Let me know if you want a general hint -- considering the amount of time you've put into the game to get ANY ending, seems like you've earned it lol
And thanks again for playing. Truly means the world to me to hear you got sucked into it the way I hoped people would! <3
UPDATE: I have done it. After nearly a year, I have done it.
That was VERY fun! (SPOILERS!!)
The incredible detail of this game is impeccable. Even though I do still stand by my original 'darn it, green eyed cook', I do admit that when I played this again, his green text made me laugh out loud. He's got a great sense of humour, that's for sure!
The way your choices, the smallest to the biggest, affect the game, as is explained, is incredible. The details of the little differences, the plothooks you can pick up and the incredible size of this seemingly at first small game is amazing.
The writing is incredible and you can really get to know every character and connect with them, and, on top of that, it actually matters to the plot!! You have to really look closely and inspect and analyze, break apart every single word and letter, pick everything apart and remember it, and it'll all matter in the end!
I really, really love the way this game was put together. I can tell a lot of thought and care was put into it. Thank you for posting this incredible story for me to play through :)
I actually had a lot to say - but that'd be too much. Well then, let's settle with: Good game, really enjoyed it, and that's certainly more than 3 playthroughs, let's say 30...I figured I finished every possible ending & most of the dialog but still feel like I didn't. Also, I like your way of using colours. Goodness, this is a lot of content for one day!
Very interesting, but I think there is a bug at "The Gnome's name is..." I can never input anything. Maybe have a couple of choices you can pick from?
Hmm, that's very strange. I haven't had any issues with that in testing... But I have some theories about what the problem might be. If you have the time, I'd really appreciate if you could fill out this bug report form with a little more detail on what you encountered: https://forms.gle/dsxdLmELyvwd13ZT6
Thanks for your comment, and thank you so much for playing!
